The evolution of the disc wheel on the road has never had a development dedicated to the search for “marginal gain”.
The market is not sufficient to support the research and investment that TOOT ENGINEERING wanted to bring to the ALIEN project by designing new shapes optimized by wind tunnel tests and the experience of international athletes in track races.

AREA51 is a newly developed lenticular with an asymmetrical profile and a double rounded shape on the longitudinal axis of the wheel. This “shape” improves aerodynamic efficiency by 18% compared to a linear profile lenticular and makes it easier to ride at high speed by minimizing surface turbulence.
The visible TeXtreme® 12K carbon construction also enhances the use of composite materials of technical and aesthetic value forgotten by the industrial world.

Front wheel available in standard 9mm axle or 12×100 thru axle.
