TOOT RACING ENGINEERING moves the frontier of cycling performance one step further.
The partnership started at the end of 2022 with the 3DPROTOLAB and COMPMECH laboratories of the University of Pavia has allowed the staff directed by Romolo Stanco to develop new design paths both on the frame and components and on the optimization of the athlete’s position.
The profound expertise of Prof. Gianluca Alaimo and Prof. Ferdinando Auricchio in the field of advanced materials and computational mechanics have made it possible to optimize the performance of essential components for the athlete’s performance and to start a new path of  “transformative innovation” codenamed X2_.

ASHEETA 3D MONOCOQUE
ASHEETA 3D is the first result of a collaboration born to bring performance cycling to the level of the most advanced motorsport, with the aim of enhancing and optimizing the performance of the most talented athletes.
After the worldwide success of ASHAA – the handlebar used by World Champions such as Aaron Gate and Elia Viviani and many other top-level athletes – from the cross between aerodynamic research in the laboratory and on the track, experimentation with unusual materials and feedback from athletes on prototypes and constantly optimized versions ASHEETA 3D is born.
With the new UCI 2023 regulations, ASHEETA 3D optimizes the aerodynamic position of the athlete significantly setting a new standard and improving the CdA by almost 7% in each position. The shape of the drop-bar follows that of ASHAA but reduces the width (external/external) to only 280 millimeters in the lower part, allowing in a high grip to assume a posture comparable to that of a time trial.
ASHEETA 3D is made in additive manufacturing at the 3DPROTOLAB in Pavia: Stanco and Alaimo worked on shapes and materials to increase the stiffness of ASHAA (already considered one of the stiffest handlebars on the TRACK market).

Ready for deep performative customization
CYBP® (Customize Your Best Performance) is a unique design service aimed at adaptive optimization for each athlete. By accessing the CYBP® service, ASHEETA 3D is re-parameterized based on the athlete’s anthropometry, posture and “needs”.
Thanks to very fast 3D printing systems, a functional (non-rideable) specimen can be created in 24 hours and sent to the athlete. The prototype built in this way is strong enough to test handling, ergonomics and grip, and also allows to test the position in the wind tunnel.
Based on the athlete’s feedback, ASHEETA 3D is re-parameterized if needed, sent to the UCI for registration and put on sale with the explanation of the specific characteristics so that it can be used by the athlete.
